With perfect attention to detail, all aspects of your stay on board have been meticulously planned. All cabins are en-suite with hot showers and full bathroom amenities, towels and luxury linens. The junk is fully air conditioned throughout; there is plenty of storage space, gourmet restaurant, fully stocked bar and meeting facilities. Equipped with all the luxury and comforts you desire, The Paloma is your home from home while you cruise the Bay

To ensure your safety and to give you peace of mind, The Paloma Family is fully equipped with all the
necessary equipment complying with international safety standards and requirements.

On board we have:

 Life buoys, 2 fire hoses and 4 fire extinguishers in the public areas and 1 extinguisher per cabin
 GPRS system (USB 3G for internet)
 Radar
 VHF radio
 Automated alarm system with speakers throughout the vessel
 As part of our introduction to life on board we ill give you a short talk on our health and safety procedures
 

 



Sundeck

 The sundeck, situated on the 3th deck, is the perfect spot to view the limestone peaks, lagoons, grottoes an emerald sea. Relax on our cozy sun lounges and enjoy the cool sea breeze.


 

 

Activities

 During your stay on The Paloma, you won’t be short of things to do. Our expert guide will lead kayaking tours of the bay, enjoy swimming in the crystal clear waters . Join our staff in some late night cuttle fishing and we run cookery demonstrations for those interested in learning the art of Vietnamese cooking.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong
7.45 – 8.15 Our bus or private car will pick you up at your hotel
12.15 Arrive at operation office in Halong Bay. Tranfer by tender to the Paloma Family Cruise – enjoy welcome drink. Receive cruise briefing and check in to cabins and begin cruise.
13.15 – 13.30 Lunch – delicious Vietnamese set menu
Heads to Bai Tu Long Bay passing the towns of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, Oan Lagoon, Mat Quy (Monster Head) and Am Tich (Teapot) Islets and Vung Vieng fishing village.
15.30 Visit the fishing village by local rowing boat (01 hour) then return to the vessel for free time at your leisure or join one of the following optional activities:
Kayak into the village or swim near the boat;
Optional onboard activities: Sunbathing, traditional massage, etc.;
Trip by tender to an isolated pristine beach for swimming, etc.
17.00 Paloma cruises through the Bay to its overnight anchorage near Hang Trong.
Happy Hour (sunset party)& Vietnamese cooking demonstration on the boat.
19.30 Sumptuous Seafood Set-dinner onboard.
21.00 Retire to your cabin or join the squid fishing, watching movie, game …

Day 2: Halong - Hanoi
06.15 Start your day with Tai Chi on the Sundeck while complimentary tea & coffee are served.
07.00 Paloma weighs anchor to cruise through the Bay passing beautiful spots like Trong (Drum), Trinh Nu (Virgin) and Me Cung Caves, Coc Ngoi (Toad) Islet, etc.
08.30 Explore the Surprise Cave (Sung Sot).
10.30 Return to Paloma Family cruise.
Check out the cabin.Western menu is served onboard. The vessel cruises leisurely back to harbor.
12.00 Disembark at operation office, Halong City. Tea & coffee will be served.
16.00 – 16.30 Back to Hanoi. End trip.

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay

Day 2: Halong Bay
Option 1 :
Enjoy the sunrise, the lapping waves, the fresh sea air, the gentle breeze or get up at your leisure while the hot breakfast is served
Paloma heads to Lan Ha Bay and Three Peach Beach for swimming, kayaking & snorkeling on a pristine, private beach.
Fresh seafood lunch is served onboard.
Continue on to discover Ho Ba Ham Islet, the most remote point in Lan Ha Bay and bordering the Gulf of Tonkin. Visit its quaint fishing village and lagoon. Possibility of kayaking through an amazing tunnel under a karst mountain.
The vessel then cruises to an overnight anchorage. Set dinner and overnight onboard.

Option 2 :
Enjoy The Bay’s morning landscape with a cup of tea and coffee. Having breakfast in the open air while cruising to Quan Lan Island.
Get to Quan Lan Island for lunch. After that take bicycle to the beautiful beaches such as : Son Hao beach & Minh Chau beach. You will spend all day to relax and swimming on the beach.
Back to Paloma Cruise for dinner and overnight on boat.

Day 3 : Halong - Hanoi
Option 1 :
Enjoy the bay’s morning landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the open air.
Visit Sung Sot cave then go to titop beach for taking photos of the bay.
Cruise back to the harbour while an a la carte lunch is served.

Option 2 :
The crew will ready the vessel to sail to a destination of your choice. Choices include: sightseeing at Sung Sot Grotto; hiking up Titop Mountain; kayaking lagoon or swimming on a deserted beach.
Breakfast is served onboard. Paloma Family returns to Halong city at 11 am. Transfer back to Hanoi.
